How do I sync a league event?

Make sure all adjustments in Golf Genius have been made before starting the syncing process within Whoosh.
  • If you do make manual adjustments to an already synced event on the tee sheet, such as a transportation type, a secondary sync will override those manual adjustments.
  • If a sync has failed and you manually enter bookings on the tee sheet, the sync will no longer populate the event on your tee sheet.

Click on the Events Icon on the Admin Panel.

Choose the event from the Past, Current, or Future list on the left side of the screen.

Select the round date you wish to sync from the Past, Current, or Future options.

Sync the round using the Sync Event Session button in the middle of the screen.

Scroll through the synced roster to see if there are any errors.
*If there is an error on a player, that means they need to be assigned to a member or as a guest.

  • If this is a member already in your roster, click the three dots next to Player Not Found, select Find Member, type the member name into the search bar, and select the + button.
  • If this is a guest already in your roster, click the 3 dots next to Player Not Found, select Find Guest, type the guest name into the search bar, and select the + button.
  • If the guest is not in your guest roster, click the person icon with the + button to create a new guest.

If you have a specific Member Play Type, Guest Play Type, Transportation Type, or Course Layout you would like associated with your event, click on the pencil icon under the date and choose the correct options.

Note: These selections will be made for everyone in the event. If there are multiple options, choose the option that applies to the majority of players and manually adjust the others after the sync has taken place.

Click on the “View in Tee Sheet” button.

This will sync the event to the tee sheet.

If you do not select this after syncing the event, fixing the roster errors, and setting the member/guest types, the pairing and event data will not get pulled into the tee sheet.
