-
Events are found by clicking on the Events Icon on the Admin Panel.
-
-
How do I sync an event?
-
Make sure all adjustments in Golf Genius have been made before starting the syncing process within Whoosh.
-
If you do make manual adjustments to an already synced event on the tee sheet, such as a transportation type, a secondary sync will override those manual adjustments.
-
If a sync has failed and you manually enter bookings on the tee sheet, the sync will no longer populate the event on your tee sheet.
-
Click on the Events Icon on the Admin Panel.
-
Choose the event from the Past, Current, or Future list on the left side of the screen.
-
Sync the event using the Sync Event button in the top left of the screen.
-
Scroll through the synced roster to see if there are any errors.
-
-
If there is an error on a player this means they need to be assigned to a member or guest profile or be added as a new guest.
-
If this is a member already in your roster, click the three dots next to Player Not Found, select Find Member, Type the member name into the search bar and select the + button.
-
If this is a guest already in your roster, click the 3 dots next to Player Not Found, select Find Guest, type the guest name into the search bar, and select the + button.
-
If the guest is not in your guest roster, click the person icon with the + button to create a new guest.
-
-
If you have a specific Member Play Type, Guest Play Type, Transportation Type or Course Layout you would like associated to your event, click on the pencil icon under the date and choosing the correct options.
-
Click on the “View in Tee Sheet” button underneath the event date.
-
-
This will sync the event to the tee sheet.
-
If you do not select this after syncing the event, fixing the roster errors, and setting the member/guest types the pairing and event data will not get pulled into the tee sheet.

Why isn’t my event syncing to the tee sheet?
-
Confirm pairings are set in GG.
-
Assign all players in the Whoosh event roster with a red error to either a member or guest profile.
-
Make sure there are no bookings on the tee sheet in the timeframe of the event.
-
If all of the above are correct, resync the event within the event window in Whoosh (Events Icon). Then click on “View in Tee Sheet.”
-
-
-
Why is my 9-hole or alternate course event not syncing?
-
At this time, the sync from Golf Genius to Whoosh does not recognize a 9-hole course or “rotated” course layout. This also applies to any event that does not use your primary course(s) Golf Genius course.
-
To prevent an issue when syncing a 9-hole event or rotated course, set up the pairings from the primary course for 18 holes, sync the event, and then change the pairings in Golf Genius to the correct layout.
-
-
As a member booking club, how do I prevent members from booking times when there is an event?
-
The best way to prevent other members from booking times reserved for an event is to create a tee sheet block on the tee sheet. Once the event pairings are finalized the event will sync on top of the tee sheet block.
-
If you put a placeholder bookings during the event, the event will not sync into the tee sheet.
-
-
-
What do I do if I get a Course ID error?

-

-
